(THEATRE) 2021

The Bristol Old Vic and award-winning theatre company The Wardrobe Ensemble team up to make a family festive hit with music composed and performed by Tom Crosley-Thorne.

Colour and the Machine
(MIXED REALITY) 2021

A research and development project combining machine learning and music with physical object detection. Playing with large inflatables the audience can work as a group to build a piece of music. Made in collaboration with Sarah Selby, Eirini Lampiri and Mitchell Wilson.

Bristol Beacon X UWE showcasing the up-and-coming students work in new media featuring two of Tom’s pieces ‘Culvert‘ and ‘Colour and the Machine‘ developed during a masters in Virtual and Extended Realities at the University of the West of England.

Culvert VR
(VIRTUAL REALITY) 2021

‘Culvert’ is a 360 degree virtual reality video that follows the natural path of the River Frome as it winds under the city of Bristol. Visuals by Lilly Parr and sound/narration by Tom Crosley-Thorne.

My Mamma, A Man
(SHORT FILM) 2019

My Mama, A Man is a short documentary about Julie Middleton and her desire to spend a day as a man. When Julie was a child she was desperate to be a boy, when she hit adolescence she felt she lost that boy inside of her. Music by Tom Crosley-Thorne.

South Western
(THEATRE) 2018

A co-production with The Tobacco Factory Theatre Bristol and The Wardrobe Ensemble, worked alongside sound designer Ben Grant with Ennio-Morricone inspired music composed and performed by Tom Crosley-Thorne.

Wind in the Willows
(THEATRE) 2018

A co-production between the Royal and Derngate and The Wardrobe Ensemble for the Corby Cube in Northampton. This was an eighties styled Christmas show music a live band, composed and performed by Tom Crosley-Thorne.
