The Wind in the Willows was performed at The Core at Corby Cube for Christmas 2017. An 80’s stylised adaptation of the Kenneth Grahame novel by The Wardrobe Ensemble. “A captivating re-telling of a much-loved tale which will no doubt help to win over a whole new generation of fans” – Northamptonshire Telegraph.
Alongside the 80’s aesthetic this project required a nostalgic retro-synth soundscape. Produced for a mid-scale theatre this show boasted an onstage band with a live bassist, guitarist, keyboard player and vocalists, performing a range of original songs written by Tom and the cast as well as hits from this iconic era.
